Having notoriously turned his illicit remix attentions to the likes of Adele and Bright Eyes in his earlier dubstep days, low-key Oslo producer, Clueless (aka Gaute Hjartaaker) is one of the original Future Garage pioneers. Clueless has been involved from the start with early releases on L2S Recordings, Frijsfo, and Night Audio - Labels known to really have pushed the genre in its formative years. Later on, releases on Brownswood, Elevater Action, B-Dem, Basslight, Surely Bassy, South Fork Sound and Shifting Peaks followed. He has done remixes for Hybu, Hollow Legs, Darkness Falls, Pledge, Usurp and Mr. Beeb, been remixed by the likes of Ghostchant, Neue Grafik, Whistla, Rushmore, FREnchfire, and Pixelord, and has received DJ support from My Nu Leng, Zinc, DJ Q Shadow Child, FalscherHase and Dusk & Blackdown.

Here, Clueless comes correct with a four track EP, each of a distinctive style - slivers of vocal weaves in and out of the stripped back techy-garage ’Ethereal’, ‘Make a move’ is Clueless’s answer to breakbeat with lush and soulful vocals. ‘Long Distance’ and ‘You’re Giving Me’ steps up to round off the package and brings us to discover Clueless’s mastery on Footwork and Dubstep respectively.
